IranFootballOnline - TEHRAN , Afshin Ghotbi - the head coach for Persepolis of Tehran - reported of his decision in leaving the veteran Karim Bagheri out of the squad meeting Naft of Abadan in Hazfi cup.

Karim Bagheri has been out and injured for the past week and did not attend any practices since then. Ghotbi based his decision on his eagerness in giving Karim some resting time.

Persepolis will meet Naft in the Hazfi cup on Thursday , November 22nd. The first clash between the two teams occured in the first week of Iran pro League and ended with a 3-2 win for Persepolis of Tehran in Abadan.
